Sharla Anderson Studio - Piano Lessons/Accompanying/Weddings/Chamber Musician
We all love to listen to music, especially a live performance. Learning how to play the piano is a wonderful outlet for creativity, and also gives one a sense of accomplishment! At my studio, we have plenty of fun along with learning how to play the piano.

My goal is to provide my students a solid foundation in piano study from the very beginning of their studies, and provide them with as many performance opportunities as they want. I hold several performance classes and studio recitals per year, and provide opportunities to perform in events hosted by St. Louis Area of Music Teachers Association (SLAMTA), Missouri Music Teachers Association (MMTA), the Missouri Federation of Music Clubs through the Virtuoso Club, and the National Guild of Piano Teachers, which is a division of the American College of Musicians. My studio is constantly evolving.  I learn as much from my students as they do from me! I love providing instruction and encouragement to my students, and performing for live audiences.

I have taught piano to students of all ages and abilities for over 20 years. I have degrees in piano performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Notre Dame. I am also a member of the St. Louis Area of Music Teachers Association (SLAMTA), Missouri Music Teachers Association (MMTA), Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the Missouri Federation of Music Clubs through the Virtuoso Club, and the National Guild of Piano Teachers, which is a division of the American College of Musicians.

I am also an active performer, and accompanist.  I am a member of the Associated Chamber Music Players (ACMP).
